About Me: Welcome radiant soul - my name is Claire - the woman behind the magic of Mystic Freyja.

Q&A

Q: How did your spiritual journey begin?

From childhood, I felt a deep pull toward the mystical and the unseen. I was the sensitive child who could sense

emotions in a room and hear the subtle whispers of the wind. My journey truly began, however, when I returned to my ancestral home in Cornwall, UK. Surrounded by the ancient stones, wild coastlines, and quiet forests of Cornwall, something in my soul stirred awake. In that stillness, I experienced a profound spiritual awakening.

During the pandemic, as the world grew silent, this connection to Spirit deepened even further. With few distractions, I turned inward and listened more closely to the guidance within. Meditation and solitude became daily rituals. What had begun in the Cornish countryside blossomed in that global pause – affirming that the path of Spirit was, and

always had been, my truest calling.

Q: What guides your spiritual practice?

My work is completely intuitive and soul-led. I don’t follow a script or set of rules – instead, I tune into the energy of the moment and let my soul guide each session or creation. At the heart of my practice is the understanding that everything is energy, vibration, and frequency. Each thought, feeling, and intention carries its own resonance.

To raise our vibration, I believe we must gently face our shadow and release the blockages that no longer serve us. It isn’t always easy work, but it’s in embracing both light and shadow that we become whole. I am supported in this by my spiritual team of guides, who I trust implicitly. They are with me every step of the way, guiding my intuition and ensuring that whatever I do is for the highest good. In essence, I surrender to Spirit’s guidance – and magic happens when I do.

Q: What is your connection to the Moon?

The Moon has been a sacred presence in my life for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I would gaze up at the night sky in wonder, feeling a mysterious kinship with that glowing orb. I began to notice how my senses heightened during certain lunar phases – my intuition sharpened, my dreams grew vivid, and even my emotions ebbed and flowed more intensely. It was as if the Moon and I were old friends dancing to the same rhythm.

To me, the Moon is not just a rock in the sky, but a living, celestial being that guides us. She moves the great ocean tides and also the subtle waters within us – our emotions, our intuition, our inner tides. I honour her as a divine grandmother of cycles and change. In my rituals and creations, especially my candle magic and spell-work, I align with the Moon’s phases. Whether it’s the New moon for setting intentions or the Full moon for releasing and illumination, I

harness her energy to amplify healing and manifestation. Working in tune with lunar cycles brings a potent, ancient power to my practice – and it reminds me that we, too, are part of nature’s sacred rhythm.

Q: Do you work with any spirit guides or deities?

Absolutely. I work very closely with my spiritual guides, and one guide in particular has been with me long before I even knew it – Freyja. Freyja is a Norse goddess (often associated with love, magic, and warrior spirit), and her

presence has quietly graced my journey since childhood. I only fully recognized her later in life, but looking back, I see that she was always there, nudging me, protecting me. Freyja empowers me to walk my path boldly and

unapologetically. When I doubt myself, I feel her fierce, loving energy encouraging me to embrace my power and truth.

Alongside Freyja, I have a wonderful team of spirit guides – wise and loving beings who support me and those I help. During tarot readings or channeled sessions, I often feel these guides step forward and speak through me. It’s a gentle, sometimes profound sensation: I might suddenly say exactly what the client needs to hear, or describe a vision that comes from beyond my own consciousness. In those moments, I am simply a vessel. I allow Spirit to flow through me, bringing whatever guidance, healing, or comfort is needed. Being fully connected with my guides and with Spirit in this way is deeply humbling. I know that I’m never working alone – my work is a beautiful co-creation between me and the divine team that walks with me.

Q: What is your mission in this work?

My mission is to help people reconnect with their inner light and step into the fullest, highest version of themselves. I truly believe each of us carries a spark of the divine – a unique magic – inside our soul. Over time, life can dim that spark or bury it under pain, doubt, and the expectations of the world. My calling is to help gently fan that inner flame back to life. I want to see people remember who they really are, beyond the wounds and stories, and to witness them rediscover their power and purpose.

Whether through moon-aligned candle magic, spell work and energy cleansing, or channeled guidance sessions, I aim to provide a sacred space for healing and empowerment. Every candle I pour and enchant is infused with intention and lunar energy, meant to be a beacon in the dark. Every spell or cleansing ritual is crafted to clear away negativity and invite in blessings. Every tarot or channeling session is an opportunity for loving guidance from Spirit. In all that I do, my goal is to uplift and inspire. I want those who come to me to feel held, seen, and supported – and to leave with their hearts a little lighter and their spirits shining brighter.

Q: What role does nature play in your spiritual practice?

Nature is absolutely vital to my practice – it is my sanctuary, my teacher, and my medicine. I’ve been an empath all my life, meaning I feel energy and emotions intensely. As a child, I didn’t understand this and would often get overwhelmed in busy or crowded places, absorbing others’ feelings like a sponge. I remember feeling exhausted and burnt out without knowing why. The only thing that made me feel better was retreating outdoors. In the quiet woods, by the ocean, or even just in a garden, I would suddenly feel all the foreign emotions melt away. Surrounded by trees, sky, and earth, I could finally hear my own energy again. Nature, with its stillness and beauty, has a way of clearing and grounding my spirit.

Today, I live in a particularly serene part of the UK, where I’m blessed to have woodland, moorland, or sea nearby. I make it a point to commune with nature every single day. I meditate at sunrise with the birds singing, or I walk

barefoot on the grass to feel the heartbeat of the earth. Often I’ll sit under a tree or by a stream, just breathing and listening. This daily connection keeps me balanced and grounded. It’s how I release any energy I’ve picked up and refill my own cup. Nature reminds me to be present and patient – she shows me that growth cycles take time, and that there is profound wisdom in every flower, stone, and breeze. By staying connected to the Earth, I stay cantered in myself, which allows me to be fully present for those I work with. In many ways, nature is my co-healer in this work: as I hold space for others, the Earth is holding space for me.

Q: What would you say is the core truth that guides you?

The core truth at the heart of my path is that we are all energetically connected. I see each person as a shining thread in a great cosmic tapestry. When one thread is healed or uplifted, the entire tapestry grows stronger and brighter. Likewise, the choices we make and the energy we carry don’t exist in a vacuum – they ripple outward and touch the lives of others, even in ways we may never fully know. This truth keeps me mindful and compassionate. It

reminds me that acts of love, healing, and kindness, no matter how small, have far-reaching effects in the web of life.

In my own journey, I have walked through shadows and survived storms – emotional, physical, and spiritual. I’ve known pain, loss, and doubt. But with time and grace, I learned to transmute those hardships into healing, wisdom, and strength. Each wound became a source of empathy; each challenge taught me humility and resilience. I carry those lessons with deep reverence. They inspire me to walk this path with humility, with a sense of responsibility, and with endless love for what I do.

As a practitioner, I do not see myself as someone “above” or more enlightened than anyone else. I see myself as a

fellow traveller. I am here to hold space as a guide and a mentor, yes, but I walk beside you, not in front of you. I meet everyone who comes to me with light in my heart, laughter on my lips, and compassion in my hands. My practice is

ultimately about togetherness – journeying alongside souls who are finding their way, sharing what I’ve learned, and learning from them in return. With warmth and an open heart, I welcome all who arrive on my path, and I’m honoured to walk with them for as long as they need, celebrating their growth and shining a light on the divine spark that has been within them all along.
